The treats contain Glucosamine Hydrochloride.
Chewy'southward description of this product states that each treat contains 300mg of glucosamine and 50mg of chondroitin, simply the images from the bag say 104mg and 34mg per care for, respectively. 300 and 104 is a substantial difference- which is it?

The units on the bag are correct. The Glucosamine content is 104 mg per treat and 34 mg per treat for the Chondroiton.
There seems to exist a discrepancy between Chewy advising i Zuke's Hip Action care for for dogs under 45 pounds and Zuke's advising 1 treat per 15 pounds. And so which is correct?

Great stuff
Senior miniature poodle loves this stuff to the moon + dorsum, peradventure because every flavor smells, ah ... flavorful. He bounces around unstiffly similar a pup, which might be just-him or anecdotal -- simply his reaction re: the odor and gustatory modality is pure joy.

Besides viscous!!
My fifteen lb cockapoo tried one of these and hated how they stuck to his teeth; he turned up his nose later on that. What a waste. Surprising because he loves other Zukes products. These are much softer/stickier than Zukes other soft treats. #Fail

Squishy but Expert
These treats are very soft. That works out well for me, since A. my domestic dog has few teeth left, and B. I wrap her pills in them and they go down smoother than peanut butter.

Picky Eater loves these!
My super agile service dog loves these. I tried other joint supplements and he spit them out.I used these every night for his training sessions. He gets super excited. I have used these for 10 years + on my previous dog.

Bad sense of taste Bad, Smell
I got these for Jackson who is having some joint problems. He will not eat them even if I crumble them in his food. Picks it out drops on floor. I smelled them and I can come across why. What few I got him to consume have shown no difference. What what they cost I would non purchase them again

great texture for older dogs!
My 10 year sometime rottie Doberman mix has been on these treats for years since she began having noticeable hip soreness. Two a day of these tasty and soft treats, and she runs effectually with our eleven month old pittie mix who is full of free energy with very piddling favoring of her "sore hip" even after laps around the yard. I wish they came in a few different flavors but we relish the beef and peanut butter options and so I estimate I tin't really complain, right?

Works Wonders
I have been buying these for years now. At commencement, I just liked the quality, and my canis familiaris loves them. She is now 16 years old...I switched treats for a few months final year, what a mistake ... she visually changed having problem walking and with stairs. I bought them again hoping they would help and that this is desire caused the downhill modify. YUP... she at present is then much better; people don't realize how old she is. That existence said she eats good for you also & takes 11-1, just I truly believe these are helping her tremendously.

Didn't like it
Charlie is a fussy eater but loves his treats, he does not similar these at all. Had to give them away.

Not sure ... (yet?)
I don't know nigh the hip/joint health effects (yet). But, my older one (going on 5 years old) does not similar it every bit much as his younger brother (2 years former). Had to wrap it upwards in some other treat to go him to eat it. Also, he has thrown upwardly three out of five times when he eats this treat. And so, I'm really not sure if I plan to buy more. Maybe I will since many have raved well-nigh this product. I'll keep observing.
